Tones and words are at the center of this concert, which mixes music and poetry.

We will hear music for viola and piano by Bach, Hindemith and Gourzi - works that span almost 300 years, but which still speak to each other. Hindemith, for example, was enormously inspired by Bach, and this is clearly expressed.

In addition, Kirsten Wilbrandt Kjær will play her own interdisciplinary work, ‘Dust Clouds’, for viola, loop station and voice. A work that explores loss and love, dust and frozen bread, what can grow and what cannot, with words and music.

The concert ends with ‘Melodies from the Sea’ for viola and piano by the contemporary composer Konstantia Gourzi. Beautiful lyrical pieces that simply weave the love of nature into the music. Free entrance.
